The work of The Mary Foundation focuses on three areas: Bullying and Well-being, Domestic Violence and Loneliness. Each action area was identified on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the social area in Denmark and based on Crown Princess Mary’s particular interests in the three areas.
Bullying and Well-being
Bullying starts early and can result in serious long-term consequences. We strive to ensure that all children feel secure and accepted.
Violence is never acceptable and can never be justified. Everyone has the right to a life free of violence. That is what we work for at the Mary Foundation.
Loneliness can be damaging to out health and well-being. At the Mary Foundation, we aim to prevent loneliness and break down the taboo surrounding it.
The Mary Foundation sometimes works against social isolation through initiatives that are not directly related to one of our three focus areas.
